about

The final part of the Roerich trilogy by St. Kraut. It's the silver key to the gate leading from the realm of dreams to the dark depths of outer space. On this album, the sound of St. Kraut has added a vintage soviet synthesizer Электроника ЭМ-04, which produces a rough and hypnotic sound. Most of the album is built on this specific sound.

You can hear it on a title track "Arrakis", which sets the tone for the entire album. After arriving on the sand planet, take a trip straight to the Gate of Night, and you will find a mesmeric groove. The midnight abstract blues "Worship At The Gate Of Night" is one of the best St. Kraut's pieces. Perfect balance of zen and groove. Close your eyes and melt in this synth pulsation with a psychedelic guitar. Beyond the Gates of Night you will find twin tracks from outer space "Fire Madness From Outer Space" and "Fire Maidens From Outer Space". The classic motorik kraut meets a buzzing synths and a tense atmosphere. What is it in the distance? Is it Ulthar's Space Cats or the Crawling Chaos of Nyarlathotep? It's up to you.

Anyway, St. Kraut concludes Roerich trilogy on a calm note, returning the listener from the depths of outer space to a meditative cosiness with final track "Everything Will Be Fine While This Music Is Playing". Remember and keep telling yourself that.
